Time expectations

Minimum: 15 minutes, 3 times per week.
Ideal: 20–30 minutes, 3–5 times per week.

Subscription

After the 30-day free trial, a monthly account is required to continue access and progress.

How to use it

Getting started

Have students log in and begin working. Each student is given one activity at a time. No setup or planning required.

During use

Students should work independently. Intervene only when a student clearly struggles with a concept.

Time use

Use 15–30 minutes per session. Keep sessions focused and consistent.

Resetting PINs

PINs can be reset through Edit Student if needed.

Understanding Results

What the data means

Focus Report

The focus grade measures attention, not correctness.
A student can be focused and still struggle.
Focus can drop for normal reasons, like briefly switching tabs to check spelling.

Always look at all three:
Focus score + activities attempted + activities passed

Progress speed

Students start below their level and move up quickly at first.

When progress slows, they have likely reached their true level.
This is where gaps become visible.

What to do when progress slows

This is expected and important.
Help the student understand the concept, then let them continue.
Do not give them the answer. Coach them.

Key idea

Outstanda does not assess grade level first.
It builds strength through practice.
Gaps appear naturally as students progress.

Start simple

Start with 15 minutes. Build the habit. Extend as it works.
